Sizzix big shot dies at Hobby Lobby
 

Hobby lobby is starting to sell the big shot dies for quilting, just thought I'd share. I'm excited because joanns and micheals don't carry them, only the scrapbooking applique ones. Hobby lobby is carry both the scrapbooking, and quilting ones. The quilting ones are in the sewing section. I have sent numerous emails to joanns that quilters would love to see the sizzix ones in the stores, but they don't seem to want to carry them.

LOL!! When I read your subject title, I was expecting a story about the boss (or the Big Shot) from the Sizzix company died from a heart attack when he was visiting a Hobby Lobby store!!

Thanks for the tip - I have been trying to find quilting die cuts at Joann's and Michaels to no avail. Will check our local Hobby Lobby and , hopefully, they will have them here.

You all are too funny. Think my humor is further South than I am, but thanks for the "heads up on the dies" and also thanks for pointing out the humor in the title!! :-) Gotta go find out where I put my sense of humor. Maybe it's in with the growing UFOs and stash!

You are not the only one!! Everytime I see the word "die", I do NOT think of cutters. I have to read it again to set my mind to quilting. lol too funny!

Yes, they do carry them. The one that I now work for part time got one in last week with a variety of the cuts also. I am thinking seriously on purchasing it.

Oh No! Poor Sizzix! LOL Well if he was at Hobby Lobby, at least he "died" happy.

Our H L has the *dies* in both dept. and cutters....lots of choices. Quilters are in luck in Montgomery.:thumbup:

I bought a Sizzix BigKick from Tuesday Morning last month for $29. I already have an Accuquilt but I like some of the Sizzix dies better and some are cheaper. Also I can use Accuquilt Studio and Go dies in the Sizzix that are 6.5 inch and smaller. Ebony Love have great YouTube videos on the Sizzix.
