I agree, some people just have too much time on their hands.

Japonica 01-24-2011 03:28 AM

Wow!

Mamagus 01-24-2011 04:09 AM

How would you cook that? Because that is something I could see doing for a small dinner party... I have a friend who would be just enthralled by that should I ever serve it to him!

But how to cook it? Any ideas!?

pjaco 01-24-2011 06:29 AM

very interesting...

I am afraid it would fall apart if you cooked it. Maybe deep frying would work......

Lisa_wanna_b_quilter 01-24-2011 07:50 PM

Deep fried or maybe roasted in an oven with just a touch of olive oil.

alleyoop1 01-25-2011 06:44 AM

This guy definitely has too much free time!

moreland 01-25-2011 06:59 AM

Well, he answered a question I've often wondered about--how balls got to be inside of boxes--you see them often done in wood and now that passing "I wonder" is answered. Thanks for sharing.

Before I started quilting, I dabbled in woodcarving and made one of these in wood. This video made it look so easy. It took me weeks!

jitkaau 01-25-2011 05:49 PM

My husband has a small wooden lantern with a ball in the middle of it that his grandfather carved. I always wondered how he did it. Thanks for sharing.
