I have one of those and do not like it, too much glare from the white plastic.

I had those attached to an "antique" machine. It needed it's own plug, so it's a pain to set it up, but then it works fine. That machine did not have a light on it and I wanted one.

The biggest problem with these strip lights is that as you push fabric through the harp area, the fabric can "grab" these lights. They do give off wonderful light, but the issues of quilting and harp space interfere.

There is a better LED stick on light made by Cutex, found on Amazon. It is about a 2 inch square of lights and has a dimmer so you can choose the brightness. The strips did not work well for me.

Grma33....Been on line looking on am...ca for hrs since I am In Peterborough area.
Considered ordering but can’t find the one you spoke about. White lights especially Can u pass on this info as I have many machines and need this to help others too. Imagine others here with vintage machines could use. I would tape to back of machine high enough to not interfere with quilting. Will check this other suggestion also. Eyes giving me issues when working in the hall so used a clip on last week but I need to move it around. Tia |
Grma33, how did the lights go? Used your machine yet?
