I made one last year - it was a little bit of a challenge, but would definitely do another

Has anyone used the Pellon Shir-Tailor interfacing? It is priced at $2.99 at Joann's for one yard by 20 inches wide. The instructions call for 7 yds. I am wondering about the description...firm fusible. How unquiltable will that make it?
I always used Pellon lightweight fusible to keep the weight of the quilt down/ If you haven't made one, be prepared for dealing with a heavy quilt.
I like it! That is next on my list to do for my daughter in law.....T - shirts from her sorority days! Was just checking the other day on what kind of interfacing to use!
For the t-shirt quilt I made, I bought a bolt of Easy-Knit lightweight tricot interfacing. The idea is to still have some stretch to keep the quilt from being too stiff. You can find it here:

Thanks for the info!
