Incredible!!! Thank you so much for posting this! So much beautiful work. I only wish they could get a much higher price for the quilts.

That was very informative, thank you. I did notice it was filmed in 2011. Such absolutely beautiful work.....why doesn't the rest of the world know about this talent.......I wish I had the kind of money it takes to purchase one of those wonderful works of art...they are as intricate as Persian rugs.......amazing ! All we hear about Egypt is the warring and fighting....not the art being created.....so sad....and this happens in so many parts of this world we share

beautiful work.......... I couldn't afford to pay even 500.00 for a quilt and even if I could afford it I'd feel like I be cheating the guy. and I agree geriB

The work of these men is incredible. WOW!! I, too, wish they could get a lot more money for their talents.

What really caught my ears about this old craft brought to mind Paul in the NT. Then found tent panels in the old tombs. We read in many places that Paul was a tentmaker and this is how he supported himself. The lady who did the explaining about the tentmaker's life related about the children who are becoming stitchers. They have a normal life, school, play and then stitching as a craft. I can only imagine this is what happened to Paul growing up. Just as we do in teaching our children to quilt.

I am so glad this site was posted and if you look at it, along the right side there is another tape of these two men and the lady goes into a lot more detail about this fabulous craft.
