Was that a poster of Tom Selig/ Blue Bloods in one of those pics? So fascinating....are these still working mills here in USA? The massiveness of production is almost mind boggling.......

Actually it is a poster of Tom Selleck when he was in Magnum P.I.

Great link - helps me to appreciate the processes our fabric must go thru to become fabric, before it gets to us and we cut it up again!

I am so sorry that we lost our textile manufacturing to China. So many people made a good living working in textile mills then and we didn't use slave labor! We made good fabrics that lasted a long time. It is sad to see the mills that are still standing just ruining the landscape when years ago they were full of productive people.
