Does Best Press attract bugs like starch does?

Spray starch we can get in Canada it's the liquid starch we can't get. I've asked everywhere.....nothing.

I've been using homemade spray starch for about two years now. Love it! Mine doesn't go bad! You add a tablespoon of lemon juice or rubbing alcohol to it. I got the recipe on here. I make a strong batch and use it on my applique, paint it on the edges with a paint brush, then iron and the edges stay put!!

Thank you for this information since my new toy is appliqué using this method, your timing is perfect. I will try it using the lemon juice to stop it from going bad quickly.

I've been using 1 cup of water and 2 tablespoons of Vodka with great success. Also cheap and no toxic smells.

I haven't heard anything negatively about Best Press except that it is a little expensive. I just wait until JoAnn's has it on sale online and sometimes they have it on sale with a mark-off on shipping. I use it exclusively!

I have made my own spray starch for years from the liquid starch you buy at Wall Mart....It cost about 2 cents a quart to make and it is great..
