threadart.com

I got an email yesterday from threadart.com that they are having a 20% off cotton thread sale and since I had just noticed my black thread spool was half gone and im working on a predominately black and white quilt atm and I have another im going to be working on in a week or so I better get some. I then proceeded to purchase the black as well as 4 rolls of variegated thread which I love for binding and decorative stuff. not sure how long its on sale but I got another one today. they have excellent customer service and my machine loves the thread. the solid colors were 2.29 before the 20% 1000 meters and the variegated was 2.50 for 600 meters. I then got right at 3.00 off for six spools which made my total before shipping 11.66 I cant beat that anywhere that ive found so far.

Love looking but as yet not had a go. I think it is the amount of thread used and like you would have to send for by slow mail

I live in the UK and the cost of good thread here is horrendous, fortunately I found Threadart a few years back and me and all my quilting friends use them, brilliant service, prices and best of all brilliant quality and range of threads, must check my stock as I think the sale is only on till the 29th.

oh yikes, I just ordered a smidge over $100 worth threads, used the code cotton to save almost $9. I was going to originally order $71 worth but the shipping was over $17 so figured I would go ahead and get my order over $100. I'll have more thread than I have storage for it, LOL

I really need to buy more Superior Bottom Line for my bobbins and hate to think of spending more $ ... oh well, hubby collects new silver/gold coins and thinks nothing of spending the $ on that, so I'm going to try to feel guilt-free!

Well done wreaz nothing better than a bit of shopping therapy :) I note you use the Superior bottom line, me and my group did try that and liked it and then tried Aurifil, wow what a lovely thread so we have all changed to that, can't please us all.

I bought 26 spools of tread from them when it was on sale and the discount covered the cost of shipping! It would've been nice to get the free shipping, but I don'thave enough room for that much thread!

I also tried Aurifil and love it...does anyone know a good source for the Aurifil? How does it compare to Superior bottom line? I have never tried the Superior...
