tip on keeping blocks in order back to machine
 
i have been using masking tape to mark rows but saw this and thought it was even better. maybe some of you could use it . anyway thought i would share.

Looks like it would be worth trying. No matter how careful I m they always get messed up.

No matter how carefully I mark rows, I always seem to mix them up. This method might actually work for me! Can't wait to try it. Thanks so much for sharing it!

I have taken old calendars and cut the #'s out. then I pin a # to each row in order --stack with # on top and put together in a baggie. then as I sew I sew a diagonal line across the left edge of the top one so that marks the 1st row. I then lay them out as sewn so that I can see the design and make sure everything is right. Ask me how I know to make sure- had a big boo boo on the 1st learned the hard way. It is very easy to do this and is free, as everyon has an old calendars around.
