Tying your quilt by machine? Quick video tute

I came across this little video about tying your quilt using your machine. What do you think? Easier to just do it the old fashioned way? More work for you? I think it will be discussed in McCalls Quilting Jan/Feb 2012 issue.

I loved the idea of using the decorative Stitch to tack a quilt. Thanks for the link!

I've used the tacking setting on my machine to tack little quilts. I used to tie quillows, but found that the knots of the yarn was probably a bit uncomfortable for sleeping, so I tried the tacking and it worked so well. Also the little motifs are cute for baby quilts. Thanks for the link to the video. That is an interesting way to do the yarn ties. No more needles to thread with yarn.
