Utility or Art?
We all have our way of quilting and it gets debated often. Utility or art, fluffy or flat, I could go on but we all know how opinionated we can be. Appreciation....lets leave it there.
Depending on your culture a quilt can be both utility and art. You hand quilters will love this and be in awe! The real kicker is what they charge! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=39zkCcQqWp0 |

I had the awesome experience of watching these two tent makers at the AQS show here in Grand Rapids, MI last month. It's amazing to watch them work so quickly. They just sat on some benches with their fabric all around them, and stitched away like crazy!
Although the YouTube pics were beautiful, they don't do them justice. You have to see them in real life...heavenly! They sold every single one of their quilts on display during that week. Thanks for sharing the video! |
Neat video! Amazing what they can do, and how fast! :)

Shall we all gather in Cairo to buy? Does anyone know if we can buy one of these "online"? |
