hmmmm..interesting, but wouldn't hair spray gumup the needle..wonder if others have used it.

I haven't used Aqua Net, but done quilts with hairspray before and it does not gumup the needle.
Also I cannot go on the floor but spray baste quilts on my queen size bed. Strip the bed and put
an old sheet on to protect the matress. Keep the old sheet for just this purpose.

Boy, talk about economical....hummmmmmm.may have to try this one.. Thanks Gene, and Caroleaug!!!!!!!!! Hairspray would be a lot cheaper I wuld think

Interesting. But I'd put something else under the quilt to protect the carpet from getting stiff.
