When I see a You Tube with the Missouri Star Quilt Company introduction, I know I will enjoy this one. Thanks for sharing.

I bought this ruler last time they had free shipping but haven't used it yet.

I also bought the tumbler ruler to use on charm squares at the same time. I cut a charm pack's worth just for fun and will probably turn it into a table topper/runner.

These are really fun!

PS - don't ask me when I'm going to post a 'completed' picture ... I might have to hurt someone! LOL

you can always post a picture of your project while in progress and give us a tutorial so it won't be a completed project so you can't hurt us, ha ha

yes, please post pictures of your project while in progress or post a tutorial

OK but it might be a while! I have to make an 'Ashes Bag' for a friend who's father was cremated and will be placed in the memorial garden at church.

I take a lot of time with these as they are very special ... a final resting place and made with prayer and love. They're 99.9% natural fibers ... linen bag, cotton trim, cotton bobbin thread, rayon or cotton embroidery thread, and satin ribbon for the 'draw string'. The reason for the 'natural' fibers is so it will return to the elements over time along with his ashes.

thank you Craftbear, I like this :) I think this would also be cute to use in a tote bag... :)

I have the hex die for the Go and I cut all the hex shapes out whole and then just cut them in half. It's so easy to sew them in rows this way.

Forgive my ignorance but aren't you making them 1/2" shorter that way because of seam allowances?
