Great video. I didn't realize you should pin the fabric on so I definitely learned something new. I have not done much PP at all but am going to make a storm at sea using PP and this video helped.

Quick question... what do you call that "roller" item she was using to press at the sewing table. That is a sewing notion I would like to own.

That is not a sewing notion! It is sold in the wallpaper department and is made to roll along abutted seams of wallpaper to make sure they stick well to the wall. What a smart idea! I am going to include it on my shopping list too!

Maybe so, but I think the wooden one would be less than $7, but as you see it is narrower. I don't know if the extra width makes any difference. I already have a cheap plastic wallpaper roller I may have paid $3 for in my craft stuff which I use for other things (with paint and glue). When I saw the better wooden roller used I thought that wood would be more substantial, more like the wooden irons.
