Oh, wow, I had not heard about the Vodka. I make my own spray, too. I will certainly try it! I don't know if my hubby will believe me, when he ask's what happened to the Vodka?

Thats all I need - a hangover after a day of quilting and pressing....My husband might wonder why I am spraying my mouth instead of my fabric. I found a great deal on Best Press - I used my Joann's 50% off coupon and bought a gallon for about $30. I just fill up my spray bottle when I need it.

I don't see why it wouldn't work on clothes. Might not be as stiff as real starch, but that might be a plus.

Boy you guys are just a riot!!!!!! I have never heard of the vodka starch. don't know if I would try it for that but I might try the tip for making pie crust. sounds interesting!!!

I just read the recipe to my DH...his reaction was of horror over the thought I might use "his" vodka....

Do you use the old-fashioned method of spraying by putting it in your mouth first?
