Walmart Savings App really saves
I use the Walmart Savings app and every time I shop there I run the receipt. I usually have $8 a month of credit savings. I'm letting it build up to get a bolt of good muslin. The savings depend on how many stores in your area sell the same items. Usually grocery items are where I get the most credit as many grocery stores have special sales on those items. I like it better then trying to price compare everything myself.

Yes, started that too......might come in handy around holidays........
I Use the app also, I have saved about 10 dollars already.
I have OVER $27 built up so far.
This is going to be my "baby" money (new grandson). |
I just downloaded the app the other day on my new tablet. Can you tell me what part of the receipt you take a picture on how you send it?? THANKS
It is the square box at then end of the receipt. There is a big arrow pointing to it that says Savings Catcher. I use the Iphone and find it easier to type in the TC#. It auto sends itself. You will get a reply in a few days after all the stores have been checked. The balance is held for you until you want to cash it in.

I use this and have saved $157 over the past year.
My total is up to about $220 now. Woo hoo!
HA! That app was already on my phone, but didn't know what to do with it. Many thanks!! I learn more here on QB than anywhere else! Love the sharing!
I just got my first savings on it!!
Is the WM savings app the only app I need, or are there other savings apps?
I heartily agree! I joined just a few months ago and already have over $50. Sure beats running all over town to get the specials and shopping in strange stores.
Never heard of it, but now I have! I'll be adding this app...already use one from Jewel Osco (Albertsons)
Can you do it from a desktop computer? Do not have other gagets/phones/tablet???
I have money in there, but how do you load it on an e card to use it? I need for it to go to one place.

The store may be able to scan the e-gift card on your phone, too, by pulling up the e-mail with the barcode in it ... I'm not sure since I use the computer rather than my phone to access my account. If you're using it to shop on Walmart's website, I think you enter the eGift card number at checkout like you would enter an actual "in-hand" gift card number. |
Hmm... haven't heard of this, but I'm going to check it out! Thanks for sharing~~

How do you find the app?
Thank you for sharing.

Never heard of this either. Will follow up for more info.
I've never heard of it. Have to look into it.

LOVE the app. In the fall there was a if you redeemed your savings to an American Express Bluebird card, your savings were doubled. From the time the savings catcher started to the end of February, I recorded $186, so it was doubled to $372. That bought our new TV.
The other benefit of the app is that the link that says "PRICE CHECKER" you can scan any bar code and it will tell you the price at Walmart. EVEN if you are in another store. I have used it more times than I can count when I am in BJs, Target, KMart, etc. to figure out the best deal. AND you don't have to try to locate the pole in the store with the price scanner. |
It's right there in a big letters on Walmart website. It's called Savings Catcher.
I've been doing it too and have gotten some great savings so far. My biggest one was over fifteen dollars off my bill.
I hadn't heard of this either, but will have my husband check it out for me. I am all for saving some money. :)
I checked and had enough saved to buy a Go die I wanted. I'll get the muslin later. LOL
