Walmart Waverly solids

I just washed a piece of this fabric. It's a very saturated dark blue. There was no bleed. I did not measure before washing and drying but it now measures 41" X 53". I am happy with the feel of it. It doesn't feel as stiff as Kona sometimes does. It was $2.97 per yard and there were quite a good selection of colors at the store I went to. I think I'll be buying more of this!

I also have bought many pieces of Waverly from Walmart. The prints are just as nice as the solids. Can't beat the price.

Haven't gotten to Walmart in over 4 months. Will have to see if they are at my small local Walmart that has always carried fabrics. (No LQS nearby)

This is one very good reason, I am sorry that none of the Wal-Mart stores that are close to me carry fabric any more. I used to get some really good deals on good fabric.

I haven't checked so I'm not sure but maybe you can order them from Walmart online

I would e-mail/write to Wal Mart and complain abuot the lack of material, as they brought it back to many stores and ask where the material is. If people in the area, (friends and family) also complain it might help. They brought it back due to a law suit that they had hunting and fishing gear for men and needed material for women. Squeaky wheel gets the grease.
You might be able to go on line and order and have it shipped to local store to and shipping is free.

You can order it online and have it shipped to the store or for I think less than $5 have it sent to the house. If you buy a little more fabric the $5 just seems to not bother me. :-) But then the alternative is I need to drive 15 miles to a W/mart (smaller store) and then not sure if they are going to have it when I get there, so I didn't mind the charge. You also quite often get things ahead of delivery date specified. :-)

Maybe we should write to or tell Walmart how much we appreciate the Waverly fabric..........If we let them know we like what they have, maybe they'll keep getting it.
