Thank you so much for suggestion. I'm going to try it on mine. I didn't think about it and just laid down my travel pressing surface on top of my mat to do some pressing. Now I have a raised area along the edge. I will try this today and post the results.

Thank you for this info. I have tried the getting the mat wet, and laying it fla with something heavy on top, did not really help. I will try this.

Interesting --I have a small warp in mine so will try this out -- certainly can't hurt!

Wish I had room in my little freezer for a cookie sheet.

If you don't have room in the freezer for a cookie sheet do you think it may work to put a cookie sheet on top of the mat and add a layer of ice cubes to the cookie sheet and leave until it melts? Seems like it would be the same idea.

Too funny! I tried this method a few months ago...I forgot all about it until I saw this post. Guess I had better go check on it. :D

I wonder about putting a big heavy La Creuset cookware in the freezer and using that? It sure would flatten it out. I don't have a warped mat to try right now. I would put the whole mat in long chest freezer (my friend has one) and then put something heavy on it.

Interesting that this came from the Fiskars website as my Fiskars mat has been the only one to warp and it warped when being stored correctly. I'll have to try this. Thanks for the tip.

It's interesting to me too as I've always read to leave it out in the hot sun on a flat surface and it'll lay flat, but not to move it until cool. So far so good with my mats, I hang my large Olfa mat on a pant hanger when I need it off the sewing desk.
