So ...... how many yards/metres have you produced, as you wait for your turkey to cook? :)

I went to a quilt show yesterday and there was a vendor demoing marbling color on fabric squares. It looked very easy and fun. She wouldn't say what she used to thicken the water solution though. She said it took the fabric after marbling six days to cure. She had them on a drying rack with a fan blowing.

Hi fruitloop I just came across this post and this tutorial this morning. I know it's a month old, and I don't know if you ever learned her marbling technique, but this is a fun way to do it with shaving cream. Straight up...no secrets. (You can also do it with crushed ice): https://www.tidbits-cami.com/how-to-...ving-cream_20/ with crushed ice: https://www.onlinefabricstore.net/ma...ic-ice-dyeing/ |
Thanks for this link, MaryKatherine :)
