Wheeler&Wilson, Wilcox&Gibbs and Vandervoort sewing machines on CL
I read in one of the posts that someone was looking for a good Greyhound sewing machine. For months on CL here in my area, someone posted a beautiful sewing machine for sale. I looked for it today but I think the guy just gave up, he didn't sell it. I did see a Wilcox and Gibbs for $75, a Wheeler and Wilson for $60 and a really neat Vandervoort for $30. these are all for sale in the St. Louis area. I do not know anything about these machines, just thought someone might be interested.

I have a Vandervoort, all my info is at home on it. It was very hard to find out anything on it. It was made for a department store that use to be in the St. Louis area. One of my Grandsons was helping a friends family move. He was looking at it as his Mom quilts also. Family gave it to him, his Mom didn't want it she gave it to me. it had never ever been used. Never been oiled. I oiled it up and it worked perfectly. I gave Grandson $100.00 for rescuing it. Young men can always use money.
