Been using one for years! I have never had any problems with it! Best light you can get!

I also have one on each of my machines, and have always loved them, but I'm finding that since I had cataract surgery it is too bright and now hurts my eyes. Bummer!

I do notice that if I am working on white fabric it does seem too bright. Guess I will just have to turn it off when using light colors.

Sophie, I love your avatar! You did a beautiful job!
I have that pattern but haven't made it yet.
What a great Christmas gift for two of my kids that live in Columbus.
I need to get it out and get them done......

My brand new light did that! DH checked the electrical socket and found it was bad. I'm glad the light blew first before my machine! Sockets do wear out.

sorry to hear this I've had mine for several years with no problems. Now did I just jinx myself!! But I still love them.

Thank you Skaduzy. I made two of them a couple years ago for family that live in Ohio. After that I had an order for one. Not a hard pattern, just a little time consuming.

I love my bright light too. Once you use it, you can't sew without it!
