I like that.....confused....do you sew the blocks together into a quilt or just place the 9 patch blocks onto the cardboard ?

That is a really cool idea. Would be great for an old quilt that is beyond repair, you could probably find enough good patches.

I think I would do stitch in the ditch...or even try hand quilting since they are so small and also to keep the old theme . I love the idea of no binding. I am now on the hunt for an old window frame.
