Thank you! I have done a mitered border before but didn't have directions. This will help the next time I do it.

Jinny Beyer uses border fabrics a lot in her patterns and she also likes to miter her corners. She has a video to show how to do it. I was making one of her patterns, the Crystal Star and ordered her border fabric to go with it. Watched her video before I started chopping away. Worked perfectly going by her directions. I'm the sort that needs to see it done and not just read how to do it so the video helped me.

Looked at the directions on the site given and a suggestion I have used in the past is to dab a little Elmer's Glue and press the t2 corners together so when you go to stitch you can just follow the fold line. Has worked for me in the past. No pins needed either.

I press the miter exactly where I want it and glue baste it. Then sew it . Easy.

Thanks for sharing this info. I have printed it for future reference. I have done mitered corners before but as mentioned the directions for the miter were with the quilt instructions.
