wonderful Repair Product
I discovered a wonderful product to repair rips, tears and holes on fabric and it's permanent. Be sure to purchase the fiberglass nonstick ironing sheet sold separately. Bo-Nash Fuse It Powder. Several great videos on youtube but I couldn't find a link. sorry. Inexpensive. I've gotten more than one accidental cut when trying to cut away the background fabric when doing applique.

I discovered this stuff back in 2012 when my quilt machine's needle stopped in the down position as my robotics kept going. My 1st quilt on the machine too and for my mother no less. Used the stuff to repair the rip and so far its held up nicely. Have used it a couple times since then so for me it was worth purchasing it. Haven't had to use it in a couple years but still keep it around just in case.

This is also wonder stuff for fusing appliques down before sewing. The applique will stay soft instead of getting stiff.

I just cut into some fabric edges for my tote bag and got out my fusing tape for batting pieces. put some on and then stitched the seams. whew!

Is the repair visable?
