Default Sewing perfect curves, circles technique

Can’t wait to use this technique! This opens a whole new quilting area I’ve avoided because curves are generally such a frustration for me. However (as stated in the original post) “this is genius!”

Good technique. I wish she would have replied to the questions about at what point do you remove the coffee filter and will it tear out or does it need to be cut away.

She did answer when to remove the paper..go back and read it again. Just under the second to last pic she says to remove the paper.

I used this method and just trimmed the excess away. Now I know how to sew curves neatly and have not used this method in several years.

Look out curves ahead! A few more techniques for sewing them.

A favorite without pins.

I still have to make the last circle blocks for a butterfly quilt and need to gather my courage. There is also a great tutorial on the boards here for making them with freezer paper them too.

Enjoy!
