Default The Splendid Sampler

Not sure if this is the right place to post this information. I just received an email announcing a new upcoming mystery quilt called "The Splendid Sampler" by Pat Sloan and Jane Davidson. There are at least 83 quilt designers who contributed to the process that will include various techniques for this 100-block quilt that will begin February 14th. The link is: http://www.thesplendidsampler.com/

All these BOM'S look so interesting. I have signed up for this one but I really need to figure out which ones I really want to do. Can't do them all. I am already behind on the 365 day challenge.

I have a question....If you have to buy your fabric over the course of the year because they don't give you a materials list, how much should you buy of your sort of "main" fabric to start off with to be sure you have enough to tie all the blocks together throughout the whole year? Or not something to worry about?

Thanks for sharing! I've joined the Facebook group, confirmed my email address and now just get to wait. Not sure that I'll be able to keep up, but it will be fun to follow if only vicariously.
