Default For those of you interested in hand piecing,

I finally found a video online showing how Jinny Beyer does it (part of a Simply Quilts show):

I love hand piecing do it all the time. I love being with DH when he watches TV Can't do that with the machine. I do a back stitch instead of Jinny Beyer way. I also like YLI thread for piecing; it is a strong thin thread. Have you tried Ardco Templates? I'm one who markes the sewing line. They are called window templates. Vi

I got her book on hand piecing and have really enjoyed but videos always add another dimension. I copied the site location and glued it in my book.

Thanks for posting it!

Someone on a different thread said that HGTV videos are not available outside the U.S. because of licensing agreements for the shows. The video I posted is an excerpt from one of the shows.

There was a quilt store near me and the owner taught me to hand piece. I was skeptical at first but once I started it is so easy. After viewing these videos this is the smae way I was taught. It really does go quick and is portable.

For those of you who cannot access the internet video, Jinny Beyer has a CD-ROM out that demonstrates how she pieces. Here is a link to it:
