Not sure if this thread is but they have:

A&E Signature for machine quilting-3000yd cone for $7.99 and
another 6000yd spool that run $11.63 ($10.62 for 10 or more)
and Egytpian cotton, 6000yd spool for $12.85
which ARE all mercerized.

Don't know how that compares with the thread you LAQ use ?

I buy the Guttermann all purpose for my piecing.
Works well with my machine & it's a strong thread.
