If only I had some extra money..... I'm saving all my extra $$$$$'s for my cruise next weekend to the E.Caribbean Islands. Maybe I'll find some great fabric while there or get some really great ideas for new quilts! Have fun shopping!

Well, put simply soap is made when you add lye and oil. But it's more like chemistry than "pinch of this, dash of that". Unlike quilt blocks, which we quilters freely share, soap recipes are closely guarded secrets. There are common recipes on ye ole internet but the ones I have for my personal use? Came after many, many, MANY bad batches. I've invested a lot of time and money into them. :D It's been sooooo worth it though...I will never buy store bought soap again.
