Here is a picture tutorial. These are simple to make and very useful. These are like the Magic bags. Let me know what you think.

is the buck wheat called buck wheat groats? I am in massachusetts and cannot locate any place online that sells it, but before I buyonline just want to make sure that it is the buckwheat gorats I am looking for?

I've never heard it called that before. the buckwheat I'm using is about the size of popping corn, and is black and is triangular in shape. My sister uses oats. They might be easier to get for you. And they work just as well.

I bought a buck wheat bag and the buck wheat burned in the microwave. It smells so bad.

I use non-food grade flax seed for mine. I use mine for migraines, so I wanted it as soft as possible, and the flax seeds are finer and 'softer', so it's more comfortable on my head. I like the way this is divided into quarters.
