www.craftsy.com

I just went to their website and clicked on classes "on sale" then on "knitting" and for three seconds they were $14.99 then they CHANGED and went up starting at $19.99 and more. I think they offer these classes to people who either don't go to their site often or who are new. What other explaination can there be?

I got the $19.99 offer too, but didn't even look at them, although I'd like to do the hand quilting one. I ordered Leah Day's first one ages ago, and one on machine quilting - but it takes forever for download, and never keeps up. Too slow internet here in the boonies.

There are specific classes that are $14.99, maybe 10 of them? The $19.99 special is through a link in e-mail, available on all classes.

Love the sales and I love the customer service there. I signed up for one during the last sale (not saying which one) and the instructor was so boring that I literally fell asleep during it. She just read "artist statements" over and over. I asked for a refund and they offered me one or a choice of another class. I picked the class.

I took a class last year and enjoyed it. Signed up this year but it was boring. Not interested anymore.

Sounds like the craftsty classes are feeling a bit of a pinch too...offering reduced cost.....I have signed up for the free BOM, but I am not at all happy with the fabric she is using for it....If I do it...I am just printing it out now....I will certainly not use all those polka dots!!!!!!! JMHO
