I have brought some lovely hand dyed felt and silk organza. I want to layer up with the organza on top. Then want to embroider it with fancy stitches on my machine or even couching down thread/wool/lace. Then make the piece into a zipped purse or book cover. But am stuck on what embroidery to do. Think like it to be in deeper shade of the the organza and perhaps some metallic thread.
Would really appreciate any ideas

I was hoping someone would have an idea for you. I've done so little embroidery that I am having a hard time even picturing what you want to do.

I have quilted up big chunks of fabric on my long arm and then cut them to use for making bags, but have not done any embroidery on any of them.

Maybe pictures of the fabric you are going to use would help generate ideas.
