Brother DreamMaker XE
 

Hi. I'm considering buying an embroidery machine. The Brother DreamMaker XE VE2200 seems to fit my needs. But I noticed it's several years old. Does Brother have a newer machine comparable to the DreamMaker XE? Thanks.

There are many new machines in the latest release. Check the website for different models and features.
What specific features do you want? Have you used embroidery machines before? They are fun.

I just bought this machine used. I could not afford the 6k plus for the newer models (the new one of the 2200 wasn't quite as much as that but it just came out this year I believe and there weren't tons of updates to it) and my used one was about a year old and wasn't used that much and I got it for a good price. I got more machine with the 2200 than I would have been able to afford otherwise at this time. I have done a few things already and am slowly adding more. Having the 8x12 (I think that is the extended hoop size) is nice as I am looking at doing edge to edge quilting and I think that is a hoop size (or bigger) they suggest. Hope this makes sense as I am on my phone getting ready for bed :D

There is the stellar models but they are definitely more pricey than the 2200
