When I got one of my first Featherweight machines I ordered a new foot pedal/power cord one. That was 14 years ago. And recently they came out with a new and improved pedal for the Featherweight so I I go it - having 2 isn't a bad thing. If one should fail for whatever reason, I will be prepared. Order the new cord and don't think twice about it.
