Solaris owners

I am considering a new Solaris, I have a babylock ellisimo gold2 now. I can get a good trade in price. I have lots and lots of stitches on mine and small repairs are adding up, for those that have the Solaris would you buy it again? Please help me decide!!

No question that I would make the trade without hesitation. If you have enjoyed using the EG2, you will enjoy the new one too. Hopefully, you like to learn new techniques and will play with all the features.

Has the dealer given you a demo or two on the machine? Do they have classes available?

I talked to the shop owner and he did show me some of the features. I am going Thursday for a full demo. And yes classes are included, along with a few great promotional deals. Thanks for your response! Now to get brave and just Do it!

I absolutely Love my Solaris. Without a shadow of a doubt, go for it. I now own a Husqvarna Diamond and a Babylock Solaris. The Solaris is now becoming my go-to machine. I was fortunate to have a store that supports any and all questions I have and offer classes, including class on using the Palette. When I purchased the Solaris, I second-guessed myself on whether I should have spent the money for a multi-needle machine since I already had a single needle. I do not regret getting the Solaris.

You might want to check the Solaris Facebook group. Lots of interesting comments, projects there.
