Default Embroidering on thin fabrics

Hello to all,
I'm getting ready to sew together the blocks for a log cabin quilt and I'm toying with the idea of adding some machine embroidery using either redwork or toille designs. The fabric is Batik and is on the very thin side. The pieces came in a pre-cut kit so not starched. I'm at a loss as to what stabilizer I should start with because I've never done anything on material so thin. Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Thanks for the replies....I've decided to not do any embroidery on this. I think it would look better to just have the fabric and pattern speak for itself.
