Way beyond the age and don't have a sewing room (it's now grandson's bedroom) but definitely have the fabric and supplies. Goodness, I really don't want to think about the value of all that fabric and tools.

Well I'm over the average age of 62 but only by 6 years and I'm going to have to hide my net worth in fabric, machines and notions :|

I'm not 62 yet - and have a ways to go (i'm 50) but i do have a room for "crafting" and i have a ton of material, so this could be me other than the age!

I do have a dedicated "room" (actually a small garden shed outside) but I don't get to use it, mostly I sew at the kitchen table.

Otherwise - no. I'm 30 years old, I have maybe $1000 in equipment (a serger and a sewing machine, plus various and sundry small items) and I have I don't know how much fabric, but NOWHERE near $3,700 of fabric

Yep, that describes me ... except the age, I'm a bit older. My daughter is the only one who knows exactly how much my Pfaff sewing machine cost. I told her so she could claim it before my husband sold it for $1 in a yard sale after I'm gone. I felt guilty until I estimated the cost we have in golf clubs, greens fees, golf carts, etc. We're probably about even. However, he is so proud of my quilts and is so interested in each one I am making. He loves the one I made him ... he wraps up in it every night when he watches anything on ESPN.

I'm 40.

I have a sewing cabinet in our bedroom, but it's got fabric piled on it. So I sew at the dining room table.

I have about half that amount in supplies if you count my 2 machines.

About half that amount in fabric as well.

I've been sewing on a regular basis for 26 years and quilting for 5 years. :)

Not at all. Especially the age. Definitely do not have all that money invested in stuff,

I'm a few years older, have a dedicated room (that just developed a leak in the ceiling during last night rainstorm), don't have that much in equipment and probably that much in fabric.
