Nice going. Isn't it both fun (and funny) that we are happy for other's wonderful fabric finds, but that we want to live vicariously on their good fortune, wanting details and, more important pics!

I wish I could find fabric that cheap.. I live on the island, but near JFK.. It still might've been worth the trip..

congrates on a great deal!!! I've answered a few of thouse ads.. after some fairly lengthy ( I thought!?!?) questiong about, what kind of fabric is it? It's NOT clothes, how old is it, smokers?, etc , etc....... I have still ended up with clothes cutup into pieces and some stained , faded sheets... Once I even got a CHEAP , OLD , SMELLY "Pleather" pants and coat. I mean REALLY??!! I explained, I was wanting it fabric to make quilts with...... anyone ever made a "pleather " quilt????? I haven't...... those bags never made it into the house!... Lucky for me, her fellow employees got greedy and swiped a few bags out of the back of her truck and went thru it!! ( this was her explaination of why there was not more than one bag-- all I can say is...... thank you "fellow employees!!!!!!")
I still scan the craigslist/freecycle/free ads for those deals..... some day MY deal with come!!!!!
