Default ‘Stained glass’ quilts

I really want to make a table runner like the link below. I have seen it on Pinterest and tracked it down to a site called 24blocks but cannot find a pattern or instructions anywhere. Does anyone know how I would go about making such a piece? Would it simply be a case of adding very thin black strips round each piece in a a patchwork style or would it be foundation pieced?

Those are just pieced and sashed with a thin black strip.

I would just think thin strips added. you just have to figure out the measurements. so it all fits together. i do that on graph paper. nice quilt.

The patterns are available to purchase on Craftsy and the block makes quilts, tablerunners, etc. The designer has a Craftsy page showing more designs at: https://www.craftsy.com/profile/sew-4-fun

Scroll down to see a purple tablerunner only one block wide (your link was two blocks wide). Hope that helps.

Thank you Kathy - I Habsburg no idea how you found it as I couldn’t even find a name for the pattern. I use craftsy a lot so will download it now. Thanks!

I made one several years ago and the black sashings were 1/2” wide to finish at 1/4” in the quilt.

1”wide to finish at 1/2”; 3/4” wide for 1/4” finished, no?
