Ihave no suggestions other than making sure she understands to look at the 'pattern' and not the fabric when you're showing her quilt tops. Hopefully she understands she can pick out her favorite fabrics!

Maybe that'll make your job easier...as the fabric makes the quilt!

If your Wal Mart has fabric, they have a black with pink polka dots and a pink with black polka dots. It is a good quality fabric. They are very popular with the pre teen and teenage girls. That is what I would suggest.

I love the book "Happy Hour" by Atkinson Designs. I made a black, white and pink quilt for my DG's nursery. I used a tiny bit of chatreuse green as an accent color. Came out great.

Check Riley Blake designs. She is a fairly new designer and has some fun fabric lines.

Maple Island Quilts has several great quilt patterns for teens. I've made several for pre-teens and teens and they all love them. They are fairly easy to make and very unique.
