What are your thoughts on this? Thanks Carol
I have started to add batting. i like the look much better.

I have done it with batting down the center and cut to a point on the ends, then quilted. It took me about 1 1/2 hours. I made another one with batting and binding, and liked the finished product a lot better.

I have made these with a light weight batting so I could add some quilting, and they have turned out very nice. Hope you have fun with making yours!

Ditto the flannel. I left the ends straight and then put some trim on them. It worked out fine. froggyintexas

Thanks everyone for your advice on putting batting in my table runner or not.. I did try putting the batting in and then cutting a point so the folded part didn't have any batting and was not so thick, but that was kind of hard to do so I think the next one will be just putting the batting in the body of the runner and not the points..Thanks again to everyone for there advice..Carol
