Has anyone put a light weight batting in the 10 min table runner? I need a table runner in a hurry and found this one on the internet and thought I would try it, but I would like to do a little quilting on it and the patter does not call for batting..
What are your thoughts on this? Thanks Carol

I have done it with batting down the center and cut to a point on the ends, then quilted. It took me about 1 1/2 hours. I made another one with batting and binding, and liked the finished product a lot better.

Thanks everyone for your advice on putting batting in my table runner or not.. I did try putting the batting in and then cutting a point so the folded part didn't have any batting and was not so thick, but that was kind of hard to do so I think the next one will be just putting the batting in the body of the runner and not the points..Thanks again to everyone for there advice..Carol
