Default It happened again

I got another big shopping bag of fabrics. Mostly batiks. It was given to me by my husbands boss.
What do i do with all the batiks. also got about 18 more fat 1/4's. that brings the total to 50 now. what a lucky blessing.

so what do i do with all these batiks, mostly brownand green, other colors, but mostly brown, greens and oranges.

Brown, green, and orange. How do you feel about Fall wall hangings? You could make pumpkins, etc.

Or I could give you my address.....

Sounds like fall to me! Make a quilt with a fall panel you like a lot and use it for borders, or as accents to patterns you intend to work on. Batiks work well with regular cottons & just give added interest or movement depending on the designs.

as boston 1954 said "I could give my address! There's never enough batiks in my stash! They make traditional patterns look new! ( and they are just pretty to look at.)

It's difficult to think of fall in the midst of summer. Do you have enough to do a two or three color quilt that would look good? Maybe Google 3 color quilts...or go on Pinterest.
Edited to add: It is a nice problem to have. :-)

batiks are beautiful! Make a scrap quilt. Go to pinterest to find a pattern you love. If you don't love batiks, join a scrap swap on the board and swap them for others. Congats on your manta from heaven! Jane Quilter
