Question 12" block "Cracker Pattern" does anyone know where I can get it?

I have been searching all day long online to find a pattern for a 12" finished block with the Cracker pattern...I am having no luck Does anyone know where I can find it? Thanks....I did however find a bunch of cracker patterns with 6" finished blocks but I am afraid those are too small, and I want a large 12" block..thanks!

Why not double the dimensions for the 6 inch blocks?

What is a cracker block? Do you have a photo?

Edit: This should be easy to draft, even for a beginner. Just take graph paper 12 by 12 inches, draw out your pattern following the 6 inch pic, cut apart and add your 1/4 seam allowance.

The block looks like this and I am having a terrible time calculating today with my head cold and I can't seem to find out what my 3 center pieces should be...I know the triangles are 6 7/8" square and you just cut it in half..its the 3 strips that go in the middle that I can't get to come out right, at first I thought they should be 3" wide but that ends up too short...I do have the length down though...not sure of any of that made sense I was just hoping that someone had the actual pattern I could save and put in my file..thanks though!

Thanks that is the one I found too, but when I cut out of printing paper the shapes the 3.5" X 9" stipswas too big to come out on a 12" block...its a number a tish over 3" but I am not sure what that fraction is :/

I drew out a 12x12 block on graph paper. The middle strips come out to be WITHOUT seam allowances to be 2 and 13/16ths by 8.5. You can always round that to 2 and 7/8th and trim down a bit. So I would cut my middle strips to 3.5 by 9, sew them together and trim down if needed. This block doesn't seem to be an exact science. The triangles would be 6 and 7/8th as you stated before. Try one in scraps and see how it goes.

Oh Courtney, we were both on the same track!!

Thanks dakotamaid and everyone else! I think my issue sometimes is perfectionist...my blocks always have to be exact and when I run into a pattern that doesn't come out to be a finished whatever they say it is supposed to be and needs trimming I'm like ...... >:/ hahaha...that pattern that I did find said to do the 3.5 x 9 stips but I just thought wow there must be a closer # so you don't have to trim but maybe I will have to trim regardless. Thanks for the help everyone!

Did you want the sub unit to be 12 inches or the overall X shape to be twelve inches square? I can print you a pattern from EQ7.
