Default Started a GFG using english paper pieceing

I Love the old fashioned GFG and want a hand sewing project to take with me when I travel and when I just want to relax and watch TV with my hubs. I bought 1" paper pieces and decided to see if I could make all of these in blues. I think I'm going to have to expand my color choices though because I don't want to buy new fabric and I don't think I have enough variety of blues. I want to make a queen size quilt and have white hexagons around each flower and a green pathway between the white hexagons.. This will probably take 2-3 years to complete but I know I will enjoy the journey. Here's the flowers I have completed so far.

High 5! I carry mine with me everywhere. I certainly wouldn't want to come across free time and have nothing to do. Have fun.

Absolutely gorgeous. I finished piecing one last year, queen size, worked on it off and on for eight years. This year I will have it longarm basted so I can hand quilt it. Hope it doesn't take another eight years.I love EPP.

If you PM me your address I can send a few blue 3 inch wide WOF strips. Love what you have done so far. I'm kinda of working (no rush) on a diamond shaped GFG. I don't know if it has another name.

I am not a big blue fan but what you are doing is absolutely gorgeous. Good luck as you continue on your project. It will be beautiful when it is all finished.

If you have lots of scraps why not ask for a trade on here if you want to stick with blues, I would be willing to trade or just send you some blue scraps If you don't have any to trade. Just PM me your address and I will gather them up.
