Default 2012 Schuylkill County Firemens Quilt / Wall Hanging

I was asked to make a quilt for the county Firemens Convention...here it is!

A 50"x64" lap quilt, 121 Fire Co names embroidered on an outline of the county, appliqued on the Firemens Cross. Surrounding this is a fabric depicting the burnt ashes of fires, and flame red & yellow blocks & borders.

The wall hanging is 26"x30" and again depicts the county with the phrase "A proud Past...A Dedicated Future" embroidered in the gray border.

All our companies in this county are volunteer...I hope this quilt helps bring in much needed funds...

You've done an amazing job with that quilt. Good luck with the fund raising.

What a great idea! I'm sure they will both make someone very happy and bring in funds for the fire department. Great job!

Very nice quilts, you did a super job. My Mom once lived in Valley View, and we had relatives in Hegins.

Absolutely beautiful. My son is a fireman and is chief of his volunteer department. He is also a fulltime fireman and this would be something nice to make. I plan on making him a quilt for his bed at the department but haven't gotten to it yet. Guess I better move it up on my list.
