It made it easy to shop for you, Sis. Glad you like all your fabric.

RE: My stepson, who has frozen me out for the last 9 years, got me a present this year - I was totally shocked when he got me a gift certificate for JoAnns. Not only was it a good gift, he'd actually thought about what I like and gotten me something that would appeal to me.

How wonderful! And how great that he shopped in your hobby area. I keep hoping my stepdaughters will remember me at Christmas. You give me hope.

Two have been waiting for 6 months already. :) )

What a nice way to get something new and different for my stash...
Stick with your decision to finish the three quilts, write down the ideas bouncing around in your head, this way the three quilts will get finished in record time so that you can start on your new projects.

Last year my daughter gave me a box full of fabric. Many were 1 and 2 yards. Probably 15 yards total. She said she bought some of the more exspensive fabric because she knows I never will buy the exspensive fabric. It probably was one of the best gifts of all times. I was kind of disappointed that she did not do that this year. But she got me a much needed gift of body lotion for my dry skin from Bath and Body works. Enjoy your fabric.

I am always surprised when my sister answers one of my comments!! (AudreyB) I am not sure why I should be surprised, as she is why I started quilting. :)

Thanks for the fabric, Sis.

What a great idea! Better than a gift card because picking out the fabric is already done.

What a great idea! I used the $$ gift from my ex-husband to buy fabric on line tonight. I can hardly wait to get it. I tell myself that I didn't break my promise to myself not to buy more fabric until I had diminished my stash because it was a gift! We tell ourselves what we need to feed our addictions and at least fabric is not fattening!
