Default Ideas for Valentines Items

I have the following material collected to make some Valentines items but I am stumped as I have looked through all my magazines, books, patterns and found cute patterns I could modify with hearts and flowers but nothing that just makes me go I have to make that. I also have the yardage of vintage looking valentine cards and want to showcase these somehow. Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks in advance for suggestions.

I love your yardage with valentines already on it. That is really neat.

I borrowed a copy of Quick Quilts from December. It has a very nice hankie quilt in it out of the hankie yardage. Something like that might be nice for your Valentine fabric. How about a little door hanger for February? A Valentine apron? An X and O quilt?

What will do you do with something made out Valentine fabric? I can see placemats used for a party. Blankets for enfants, what else? Maybe a wreath for the door?

You have a nice assortment of Valentine fabric. Placemats and pot holders comes to mind.

How about a table topper like the one shown on accuquilt's web site. You could make something like that even if you don't have the cutter. You could do a search for a card holder like they use at Christmas and possibly find one for your vintage cards.
