I have one of these machines and it is the rare 221J beige model. It has a shorter bed base,no decals and no face plate. They are very hard to find and rather expensive when you do find one.You have hit the jack pot big time!!! They do make a white one also that has a green case, but yours is not the white one.Yours is the very rare one.I am so happy for you!!!!!!!!!

What a find! You were meant to have it when it was still waiting for you.

Thanks everyone. The place where my son found this machine does architectural salvage and demo, He went there to find door hardware, he has an old fixer-upper house. so this little machine may have been sitting in a house that was being torn down. So glad they saved it. The guy there said he has 10 containers of salvage to go through in the next few weeks, I gave him my number and told him to call if he finds any other sewing machines. And you can bet my son will never pass up another Featherweight!

It is so difficult for me to imagine someone having a sewing machine and not using it. Your fw appears to be in pristine condition as though it was seldom used. What a find!
