Hi,all. I am a newbie and can't figure out some of the abreviations in the posts. I get the HSQ and QST, but some of the others have me confused. Can someone tell me what some others mean? Thanks

Use the Search feature at the top of the page and look for acronyms. There are a number of links to choose from. They should help you decipher this "quilter's" language you've encountered. :-)

It's okay to ask.

I think different cultures/regions/occupations have different abbreviations for things.

Or the same abbreviation means different things to different folks.

SOB on a medical patient's chart means "shortness of breath"

I've heard it also has other meanings. 8-)
