When I first saw it, I decided it was too expensive getting the dies I wanted. However, just one cutting session with ruler, cutting board, and rotary where my back went out was enough to change my mind. I love it. It's much easier to use and less strain on my back.

I'm the type that doesn't debate with myself over if I should by something just for me. I learned a long time ago I miss out if I do. I bought the Go it when it first came available at full price. I wanted it to be amazing and it is. I have most all the dies. I buy all the try me dies, they sell out fast and not made anymore for most of them.

What are try me dies and where do you get them? BTW, my DIL made the decision for me and bought the GO. I love it.

Most of my dies are about 6 years old and used all the time. I've never had one bend of of shape. My guild has several Gos and the dies are used many times by different people. One die was dropped die side down and stepped on by very heavy person. It didn't cut after that. We were just glad the die blade side was down! No bending has happened with regular use though. I returned two I didn't think worked good enough after using it and didn't have a problem through Accuquilt. If bought through other sources then it may be a problem returning a used die.

I have an accuquilt and find it a good way to make bindings and any other kind of cuts I have templates for. However, when I bought it I thought I'd be using it all the time but have found I don't use it that much at all. The templates are very expensive to purchase and unless you are a quilter who appliques a lot or does really fancy things I wouldn't recommend it. My purchase was kind of a waste of money for me.

I only get mine out about once or twice a month now but I do I make it earn its space in the room :-) 150 charm squares in just under an hour always makes me happy. Also, if you have embroidery machine there is software can be purchased from Accuquilt to go with applique dies. I will be using mine to cut Sun Bonnet Sue/Sam's out of my kids baby clothes and appliquing them on squares with embroidery machine and none of that could be done by me without the Accuquilt.
